Staff Employment
OEC is currently seeking mission-driven, qualified candidates for the following staff positions:
Youth Program
OEC welcomes youth (ages 15-18) to apply for a Youth Crewmember position. Our crews work on a variety of projects including public outreach, education development, neighborhood demonstration projects, tree planting programs, and maintenance. This position emphasizes community engagement, conservation work, and personal development.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, but OEC primarily hires youth prior to the summer season. Limited spots are available for youth crewmembers to work throughout fall and spring.
Young Adult Program
OEC welcomes young adults (ages 18-25) to join our crewmember program experience. As a Young Adult Crewmember you will work towards creating livable, sustainable communities through service and outreach, while enhancing your professional and personal goals. Our crews work outdoors on a variety of projects including: tree planting, green infrastructure maintenance, natural areas management, and community engagement. This position emphasizes development of life skills through formal lessons and on-the-job training. Commitment to personal and professional growth is a crucial part of OEC’s program.
We accept applications on a rolling basis, but generally hire new crewmembers in the early spring and fall.
